I grew up in Santa Fe, NM, where it is common for alternative medicine to be embraced as primary care.  By age seven I was receiving regular acupuncture for my gymnastics injuries. I did not know then that this medicine would become a career path and lifelong passion.

While completing my undergrad degree in Biology at Middlebury College in Vermont, I fell in love with Ashtanga yoga, and spent five years apprenticing as a teacher. As I began to take a deeper interest in my own wellbeing, I found my way back to the medicine that helped me in my childhood.

I also found my way back to the big sky and high mountain-desert that I love. After the 4-year Master’s program at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, I opened my own practice here.

my inspiration and awe for the healing capacity of our bodies only continue to grow. Happy to be a student for life, I am currently pursuing certification in Functional Medicine through IFM, and completing Aviva Romm’s 400hr course on Herbal Medicine for Women.

My passion for wellness extends beyond the individual. I believe deeply that personal wellness is inseparable from community wellness. As a lifelong advocate for women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights, and social and environmental justice, I strive to implement conscious and inclusive business practices.
